Cristina Estevão, born in the Algarve, is an Adjunct Professor at the Superior School of Management in Idanha-a-Nova, at the Polytechnic Institute of Castelo Branco, Portugal. She is currently coordinator of the Degree in Hotel Management and the Professional Higher Technical Courses in Restaurants and Hospitality and in Management and Kitchen Production. She is a researcher at the NECE Research Center – Nucleus of Studies in Business Sciences. He has already published a book in the area of Tourism, some book chapters, as well as several scientific articles at national and international level. His research areas are: management, tourism, competitiveness and strategy. With Idioteque, she published A Competitividade no Sector do Turismo: Contributos, Desafios e Implicações (2015), a work that received the Scientific Merit Award in the area of Education, Arts and Social Sciences from BES. It is a fundamental book for all those who work in the field of tourism, directly or indirectly, such as municipalities, universities (students and teachers) or tourist agents.
