The presentation of the book “Três Bichos Te Esperam, Quatro Te Comerão” by Manuel Andrade took place at the “Fabrica de Santo Thyrso” facilities. The opening of the event was in charge of the Vice President of the Municipal Council of Santo Tirso, Eng.º Luciano Gomes, who, in front of around three hundred people, including Fátima Campos Ferreira, an outstanding television communicator and Emília Nadal, an artist, were also present. Distinguished guests were present, such as Noronha de Nascimento, Rui Reininho, Councilor Alberto Costa, individuals from all social and political backgrounds. A fact that affirms this work as transversal to the entire Portuguese society. Which is why the book has already sold out its first edition, with the second already on newsstands. Journalist Fátima Campos Ferreira and friend of writer Manuel Andrade was invited to analyze the reality of the novel a little.
Thus, he intended to immerse those present inside the work by reading some excerpts, all of this, done with the elevation, capacity and synthesis, which the journalist is recognized for, thus lending added value to this literary work. Emília Nadal, the author of the book’s cover, a long-time friend of Manuel Andrade, highlighted the preface by the ill-fated Urbano Rodrigues. He referred to the work as something that talks about Life, praising the character and personality of the young author. Throughout the night, the intervention and participation of the theater group «Andaime» from Vila do Conde, with which Manuel Andrade has a close friendship and work connection, occasionally provided special and peculiar moments. There was also a musical moment, with the presence of violinist Tiago Abreu. The presentation of the book would end with a public thank you from the author to those present. Manuel Andrade, with serenity and some emotion, talks a little about his life path, both professional and his origins but above all about his desire and feeling of duty fulfilled by publishing this work.
