X-ATO solidarity entrepreneurial acts competition

The X-ATO competition sought, and succeeded, in promoting the creation and implementation of Solidarity Entrepreneurial Acts, within the scope of educational activities and the promotion of entrepreneurship.
Under the challenge of the municipality of Vila Nova de Famalicão, groups of 12th year students from schools in the municipality developed ideas (one per group) and challenged companies to carry out Solidarity Entrepreneurial Acts, resulting from the ideas they proposed, with a budget of less than 2000 euros, in favor of social economy entities and/or informal groups and/or families, individuals.
From the set of ideas, a jury selected 10 finalist proposals. Among these, the student population voted for their favorites to find the winning proposal.
The winners of this competition will have as a prize the payment of one year of tuition fees in courses linked to the University Polytechnic Higher Education Cooperative (CESPU) or Universidade Lusíada.
