2nd Edition Tratar o cancro por tu: Funchal

The fourth session of IPATIMUP’s “Tratar o cancro por tu” initiative went to Funchal to contribute to breast cancer literacy. Moderated by Tiago Alves and Miguel Soares, from Antena 1, and performance by Jorge Serafim, with the presence of the Regional Secretary – Pedro Ramos –, Sara Câmara, Joana Paredes, Manuel Sobrinho Simões and Fernando Schmitt.

“I had breast cancer in 2018, I wanted to start by thanking IPATIMUP for these sessions that they have done and that I have followed over the years. Treating cancer for you is, in fact, very important. I remember when I was diagnosed, one of the hardest moments was telling my children that I had cancer and five years later, I look back, and I actually got my children to treat the cancer for you.”
