Alberto Cadilhe was born in Póvoa de Varzim in 1940, the fifth of seven siblings. Poetry, literature and art have been a passion since I was very young. He began to write poetry in 1956. He has a book of poems and a single copy, dedicated on September 18, 1966 to Eulália, who would become his wife and mother of his two children. He studied Law at the University of Coimbra in 1967, after which he began his professional career as Deputy Delegate of the Public Prosecutor in Póvoa de Varzim and here he also carried out training at the Notary Office and at the Civil Registry Office. He has been practicing law since 1970, always in his beloved city of Póvoa. He is now a monthly contributor to the newspaper “As Artes entre as Letras”. With Idioteque, he published his first book Poemas no Silêncio do Tempo (2015).
